Sacral Chakra
Symbol: Circle with 6 petals & Moon Crescent
Element: Water
Color: Orange
The Sacral chakra is the 2nd chakra and its Sanskrit name is Swadisthana. When balanced, we express creativity freely. Our connection with others is fluid as we easily sort out our feelings and desires about life, creativity, relationships & sexuality. This center is the gateway of consciousness and a result of our emotions meeting the body.
For many years, my sacral chakra was imbalanced because I didn’t know how to ground my root chakra, let alone clear and rebalance the sacral. As a person who thrives on creativity, I didn’t understand why my creations weren’t taking off towards success.
This constant reminder of ungrounded territory within festered doubt, low self-esteem, a lack of confidence in myself, especially when around others that I thought were better than me.
I felt insecure all the time, that somehow others had a better chance of becoming what I wanted to be. That they were more stable. But when I learned how to ground my root on my own 12-dimensional platform that Spirit taught me, only then was I able to strengthen my sacral chakra and implement a daily practice of self-love, self-care, using affirmations to unearth my natural born gifts and skills needed to see my creations blossom.
